🍔 Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf Recipe 🤤
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
½ pound ground pork (optional, adds extra flavor – or just use more beef)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup milk
¼ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 large egg
½ medium onion, finely diced
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (plus extra for topping, optional)
Extra ketchup or BBQ sauce for glazing (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces. Set aside.
Mix the meatloaf base: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork (if using), bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the flavor: Stir in ketchup, mustard, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined. Don’t overmix or the meatloaf will be tough.
Shape and place the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Optional glaze: Spread a thin layer of ketchup or BBQ sauce over the top for extra flavor and shine.
Bake uncovered for 50–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Rest and serve: Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with extra bacon or shredded cheese if desired.
Serving Ideas:
Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans for a classic comfort dinner.
Slice leftovers for meatloaf sandwiches the next day.
