π§ Crispy Cheese Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups white flour (approximately 250g)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sugar
Β½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
ΒΎ cup warm milk (or warm water)
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or any other type you have)
Method:
- In a bowl, mix the warm milk with the yeast and sugar and let it stand for 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add the flour, salt, oil, and half the cheese. Knead until you get a soft, but not sticky, dough.
- Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Shape it into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Top with some grated cheese.
- Bake them in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
